Harrison, N.J.: The Chicago Fire’s Xherdan Shaqiri and the New York Red Bulls’ Patryk Klimala put the finishing touches on a wild 3-3 draw on Wednesday.

Philadelphia 0, Inter Miami 0

Chester, Pa.: Drake Callender had eight saves to help Inter Miami gain a 0-0 draw with the Philadelphia Union on Wednesday.

Andre Blake notched three saves for Philadelphia (5-1-7), which fell out of the top spot in the Eastern Conference. Philadelphia has drawn in five straight matches. Miami was looking for its first victory since April 24.

New York City 2, D.C. United 0

Washington: Alex Callens and Valentín Castellanos scored first-half goals to propel New

York City FC to a 2-0 victory over DC United on Wednesday.

It was NYCFC’s first road win of the season. NYCFC has won five of its last six matches, while United (4-6-2) is winless in its last three.

Minnesota 1, L.A. Galaxy 1

St. Paul, Minn.: Robin Lod scored in the 87th minute to help Minnesota United earn a 1-1 draw with the LA Galaxy on Wednesday.

Lod scored the equalizer for United (4-5-3) with an assist from DJ Taylor.

Nashville 2, Montreal 1

Nashville, Tenn.: Hany Mukhtar scored the deciding goal to spark Nashville to a 2-1 victory over CF Montreal on Wednesday, upping Nashville’s home unbeaten streak to 23 straight.

Nashville’s run ties the LA Galaxy (2014-15) for the third longest streak in MLS history. The Houston Dynamo (2011-13) hold the record with 30. Real Salt Lake had a 29-match run in 2009-11.

Seattle 1, Houston 0

Houston: Raul Ruidiaz scored in the 28th minute and Stefan Frei made it stand up to lead the Seattle Sounders to a 1-0 victory over the Houston Dynamo on Wednesday.

Vancouver 2, FC Dallas 1

Vancouver, British Columbia: Lucas Cavallini scored a last-minute penalty kick, lifting the Vancouver Whitecaps to a 2-1 win over FC Dallas on Wednesday night.

Vancouver has won three of its last four games. Dallas had is nine-match unbeaten streak halted.

San Jose 3, Portland 2

Jamiro Monteiro scored two goals, including the match-winner in the 80th minute, to lead the San Jose Earthquakes to a 3-2 victory over the Portland Timbers on Wednesday night.

Austin 2, Los Angeles FC 1

Los Angeles: Ruben Gabrielsen and Diego Fagúndez scored, propelling Austin FC to a 2-1 victory over Los Angeles FC Wednesday night.

The victory came despite LAFC’s Carlos Vela becoming the third-fastest player in MLS history to reach 100 combined goals and assists. Vela scored on a penalty kick in the 86th minute, giving him 62 goals and 38 assists in 98 regular-season matches.

Austin FC already has seven victories in its first 12 matches after winning nine all last season.
