LAFC 3, FC Dallas 2

Frisco, Texas: Cristian Arango had a hat trick, scoring two goals four minutes apart late in the second half, and LAFC beat a Ricardo Pepi-less FC Dallas team 3-2 on Wednesday night.

Pepi did not play after injuring a foot last week in the U.S. national team’s win over Costa Rica.

Whitecaps 3, Timbers 2

Portland, Ore.: Cristian Dajome converted on a penalty kick in the 82nd minute and Vancouver Whitecaps came from behind to beat Portland.

Down 2-0 at halftime, Vancouver (11-9-10) got second-half goals from Deiber Caicedo and Brian White before Dajome’s penalty.

Revolution 3, D.C. United 2

Washington: Adam Buksa, Carles Gil and Gustavo Bou all scored after halftime to give New England a win over D.C.

New England (21-4-6) extended its undefeated run to eight games, and notched its third straight victory over D.C. United (12-13-5) this season. With four matches remaining in the regular season, the Revolution are three points shy of tying the single-season points record of 72 set by LAFC in the 2019 season.

Minnesota United 3, Union 2

St. Paul, Minn.: Robin Lod and Franco Fragapane scored goals a few minutes apart as Minnesota beat Philadelphia.

Emanuel Reynoso stole a pass in the attacking third and pulled the Philadelphia defense with him in the center before playing a backheel pass to Lod for a one-touch finish to tie the game 2-2 in the 63rd minute. Fragapane gave Minnesota a 3-2 lead when he headed home the rebound of a shot by Adrien Hunou in the 67th minute.

Nashville SC 1, Crew 1

Nashville, Tenn.: Hany Mukhtar scored in the 77th minute and Joe Willis had five saves as Nashville tied Columbus.

Mukhtar, who scored four goals as a rookie last season, ran onto a cross by Daniel Ríos and slipped right-footer around defender Jonathan Mensah that froze goalkeeper Eloy Room and bounced into the net to even the game.

New York City FC 1, Atlanta United 1

Atlanta: Gudmundur Thórarinsson scored on a free kick in the 90th minute, giving New York City a tie with Atlanta.

Thórarinsson’s curled a left-footed shot up and over the wall past a diving Brad Guzan.

Orlando City 1, Montreal 1

Orlando, Fla.: Chris Mueller scored for the first time in nearly four months and Orlando tied Montreal. Orlando (12-8-10) is undefeated in its last four games.

The 25-year-old Mueller, who scored a career-best 10 goals last season, scored moments before halftime to give Orlando City a 1-0 lead.

Inter Miami 3, Toronto FC 0

Fort Lauderdale, Fla.: Federico Higuaín and Christian Makoun scored to help Miami beat Toronto.

Fire 4, Cincinnati 3

Cincinnati: Luka Stojanovic scored in the 93rd minute to help Chicago beat Cincinnati in a game between teams that won’t be in the playoffs.

Galaxy 3, Dynamo 0

Houston: Sacha Kljestan and Kevin Cabral scored in Los Angeles’ win over Houston.

Los Angeles (13-11-6) has won two straight after getting a stoppage-time winner from Kljestan on Saturday. Houston (6-13-12) was eliminated from playoff contention Saturday.
