Now open

Well-known Colorado Springs-based eatery Urban Egg is bringing its jumbo lump crab benedict and its ninth Colorado restaurant to Cherry Creek North.

It’s located at 3033 E. 1st Ave., on the corner of St. Paul Street.

“We are so excited to bring Urban Egg to the Cherry Creek North community,” said Restauranteur Randy Price, who’s operating it with son Brennan, in a statement. “At Urban Egg, signature menu items are made from scratch in-house daily. We partner with local Colorado-proud suppliers to provide the finest, locally sourced, honest ingredients. Those living and working near Cherry Creek North will love our innovative and flavorful twist on breakfast and lunch favorites.”

The Rocky Mountain Restaurant Group also has Urban Eggs in Fort Collins, DTC, Johnstown and four in Colorado Springs. It plans to open its first out-of-state location in Kansas City this Fall.

Coming soon

Buona Beef, famous for its “Original Italian Beef Sandwich,” plans to open its 26th location at McGregor Square, 1901 Wazee Street, in Denver’s LoDo at the end of June.

The Chicago-based restaurant will offer “an extensive menu that will include many of Buona’s popular options like the Original Italian Beef Sandwich, burgers, Plant-Based Italian Beefless Sandwich, char-Grilled Chicken Sandwich, and their hot or mild giardiniera – all sourced directly from the Chicagoland area.”

Colorado Rockies fans don’t have to cross 20th Street to get their taste of Buona – the company this month started providing its famous Buona Italian Beef to Coors Field. Cubs fans should be happy.
